The Cutest Summer Sandals
As a child growing up in Florida, I lived in sandals. The only closed-toe shoes I owned were sneakers for sports, patent-leather Mary Janes for church, and ballet/jazz/tap shoes for dance class. The sandal craze continued into high school where everyone wore sandals every day – no matter what. We didn’t care if it was 40 degrees outside. We wore sandals. Anyone who isn’t from Florida is probably laughing at me right about now, but if you grew up in Florida you understand exactly what I’m talking about.
Now that I’ve grown out of the high school fashion scene (thank goodness), I embrace shoes of all types. My closet is filled with boots, sneakers, ballet flats, pointy toe pumps, and closed-toe shoes in every shape and color, but sandals are still my go-to shoes.
